It is important to keep your makeup brushes/tools clean at all times. Washing your brushes at least once per week is a great way of maintaining them and it prevents you from getting breakouts. The Coastal Scents brush shampoo cleanses all traces of makeup and impurities from the brush leaving it clean and fresh for next use. I have been using this brush cleaner for quite a while and it sure does stand up to its claims. I have also tried the Olive Oil and Baby Shampoo method of washing my brushes but often times my brushes are very oily and too much of sheen, even when I use the Olive Oil sparingly, this method does help with cleaning my brushes but I hate the after effect.

I would definitely repurchase this brush cleaner since it cleanses my brushes very good without leaving traces of makeup and impurities. I found the bottle is not compressible and the liquid was hard to dispense from the bottle I ended up having to unscrew the bottle cap to get the liquid out. The liquid is of silicone texture and it lathers… I hope they add a pump to the bottle or redesign it for easy dispensation.
