Did you know that there are six different Disney theme parks around the world? That’s pretty impressive when you think about it. And most people don’t realize that there are so many out there!
So, if you have decided to spend a holiday in one of these Disney-themed worlds; it’s important that you pick the one that fits you best. Here’s my roundup of the best parks so that you have all the info you need before you make your decision!
Walt Disney World, Florida
Probably the most famous of all the Disney theme parks, Walt Disney World is certainly one of the biggest of all the parks. In actual fact, it’s made up of lots of mini-parks put together, including four theme parks and two water parks. Walt Disney World is so big that it is the same size as the Welsh capital of Cardiff. So that means that you need plenty of time when visiting; ideally a week or more.
Disneyland Resort, California
The Californian resort is the original park and has bags of history and charm as a result. Make sure you get a large case from loftyluggage.com to take with you, as there is plenty of souvenir shopping to be done here! This park is also the home to the world’s first tubular steel roller coaster, The Matterhorn. Those of you who have enjoyed some of the later Disney movies will find lots of rides dedicated to them in this park.
Disneyland Resort Paris
If you want to add some Disney sparkle to a European trip, you should head to Disneyland Resort Paris in France. You’ll be able to find some really affordable flights by checking budget airlines such as norwegian.com. Many think that the fairytale castle at the end of the Main Street is one of the most beautiful in all the Disney theme parks. But I’ll leave that for you to decide!
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort
For an Asian take on the world of Disney; book your flight to Hong Kong so you can see its very own Disneyland Resort. This park has some of the best waiting times out of all of them, so you don’t have to expect to queue up for over an hour just to get on a ride! You’ll also find that there are some very quirky takes on very iconic rides. For instance; the Haunted Manor that was first opened in the Florida park has been reimagined as a super cool Mystic Manor here.
Shanghai Disney Resort
Another of Asia’s Disney theme parks, the one in Shanghai is the newest of them all. A lot of work and effort has gone into creating some really great high-tech rides here. However, there will be lots of crowds no matter what time of year you visit as this park is always extremely busy. So, be prepared to queue for your rides!
Do you have a better idea of which Disney park to go to now? Have a wonderful trip!
