MAC Heroine is being categorized as a matte lipstick but it is somewhere between matte and satin as it applies creamy like satin and sets to a completely matte finish but doesn’t feel drying or moisturizing on the lips. It does last long on my lips and it leaves a strong pinkish-red stain when wearing off. I am impressed with the longevity of this MAC Heroine lipstick; I have it on for more than 7 hours and it still stands up to its name.
One thing I like about this matte lipstick it will last for hours on your lips no matter the amount of food you eat or drink; the lipstick hardly budge. If you are on the go you might want to do a little touch up after eating or drinking but not really over applying too much.
The MAC Heroine lipstick is full coverage, it is opaque and one application can cover your natural lip colour. The formula is creamy and smooth, so it glides on nicely without tugging, it is lightweight and comfortable to wear.
