When NYX first introduce their Eyebrow Gel on the market I was very excited to try it since I’m a big fan of NYX and I love a tame brow that will not fly away. I ended up purchasing the NYX Eyebrow Gel in Chocolate. It comes in a small tube that can easily be squeezed to get the product out.
The problem that I had with this eyebrow gel is considering what tool I should use to apply the product to my brows. I tried using a spooly to brush it in and also an eyebrow comb. It was applied perfectly using both methods. The NYX Eyebrow Gel dried instantly, leaving my eyebrows in place with no fly aways. This eyebrow gel is very pigmented, so depending on the colour that you use on your brows it will change to that colour. My brows went from black to a chocolatey brown shade. I am not impressed by the hard, stiff feeling that the eyebrow gel made my brows felt.
The NYX eyebrow gel has multi-purposes: it can be used to fill in, thicken, define, shape brows while giving it a natural look. It can also be used to mix with any combination of shades for your perfect match. So if you are going for a red, blue, green etc. brow you can mix the eyebrow gel with an eyeshadow to get a perfect mixture for your brows.

I tried to mix a combination of green eyeshadow with the eyebrow gel but it didn’t turn out the way I expected it to. Maybe if the shade of the eyebrow gel was more clear rather than chocolate brown I would have gotten the green shade that I wanted to achieve with this combination.
