Nobody really thinks of themselves as fat; they think of themselves as a slim person wearing a fat suit that they can’t take off. They believe that if they were able to peel the layers of flab off their body, they would reveal their true, sexy, physique to the mirror. Fortunately, there is a way to peel off all those fat layers. Unfortunately, it’s not as simple as just pulling them off. It will take a lot of hard work, but if you’re willing to put in the time, you can slowly begin chipping away at the excess to set your true body free.
Cardio
If fat is the biggest obstacle to achieving your true body image, then you know what you need to do to burn it all off. However, there’s no need to max out your energy at the gym; there are plenty of exercises that you can do for ten or twenty minutes each day that will still be as effective as thirty minutes on a treadmill. A ten-minute workout on a trampoline firms the legs, thighs, abdomen, arms and hips, increases agility and improves a sense of balance. A thirty-minute dance session burns as many calories as running, but it doesn’t feel like hard work because you’re having fun doing it.
Toning
Including muscle training in your workout could increase the rate at which you lose body fat. Studies performed by Wayne Westcott, PhD, from the South Shore YMCA in Massachusetts, found that women who strength train two to three times a week for two months will gain on average nearly two pounds of muscle and will lose 3.5 pounds of fat. Isometric exercises such as planks, squats, or even yoga will work wonders, and you can do these at home. Just ten minutes a day will tone your body and significantly increase the rate of body fat loss. Most importantly, your strength training can keep your weight stabilized once you’ve reached your fitness goals because you continue burning calories even after you’ve finished working out.
Surgery
Some people might think going under the knife is a drastic solution, but there are people who feel held back by a single body feature, and sometimes diet and exercise aren’t always enough to eliminate them. While it’s true you can hide loose skin after major weight loss with loose clothes, some people can still feel self-conscious about having – in their minds – an embarrassing feature. If their confidence skyrockets after having a breast enhancement, then it’s obvious that having the surgery done was the right decision for them. Everyone has their own way of boosting their self-esteem which involves looking towards top rated plastic surgeons.
Drink more water
Drinking more water can improve your brain function, and clear your skin, but it’s even more important for weight loss. Water helps boost your metabolism, cleanse your body of waste, and acts as an appetite suppressant. Also, drinking more water helps your body stop retaining water, leading you to drop those extra pounds of water weight.
