Statement Lips
The rise of Kylie Jenner’s lip kits has meant that more and more people are focusing on their lips as the main source of attention on their face. Although we know that Kylie has visited a plastic surgeon to achieve her current look; there’s no doubt that her products do add a little more volume to the lips that you’re trying to achieve. There are beauty companies all over the world that have released their own versions, so you won’t be short of stores to source your own lip kit at a fraction of the price of Ms. Jenner’s. It doesn’t matter what colour you choose, either; gone are the days of assuming that dark lips are more of a winter thing and lighter colours should be used in the warmer seasons. The rainbow has been introduced back into the game, and you can pick and mix any colour that you wish.

Glitter
It’s here, it’s there, it’s everywhere – and that’s precisely the mood that you should adopt when adorning your body in this messy stuff. Not only is glitter being used to complete beauty looks on the face, but it’s also being incorporated into hair as well. It’s usually put partings in the hair to emphasize the appearance; however, the general consensus is that if you end up looking like a fairy at the end of it, you’re doing well. Make-up grade glitter should be the only glitter that you use to avoid any associated damage, such as eye lacerations from art glitter. It can be bought online and usually comes in small pots; which are more than enough to complete your look with a bit more left over. There are tutorials online to show you how to apply it; what other looks you can use it with and how to get it off when you’re done. It can’t get much simpler than that.

It’s all about the highlight this year. Highlighters have made a firm name for themselves over the past couple of years, but they’re being used by makeup artists all around the world presently in order to give that effortless glow that is adorning every celebrity’s face. There are different ones that you can go for from a strobe highlighter to shimmer highlighters; which take their turns in bringing out your skin tone and complementing it accurately. Whereas the understated and minimalist look was in a few years ago; you can be as liberal as you like with this one – the shinier, the better. But it’s not just your face that you need to keep it to, either; highlighters can be used on your arms, legs, anywhere that you see fit that you want to draw attention to.
