The Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick provides the shine of a gloss and the staying power of a lip stain. It comes in a squeeze tube with a velvety sponge tip applicator that dispenses product in little beads when the tube is being squeezed.
It provides a cushion like transfer to lips while absorbing excess product to get an even coverage. The precision tip eliminates the use of a lip liner which makes this formula easier to apply. The Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks are intensely pigmented, opaque and smooth on the lips.
It is formulated without:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Phthalates
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Peony is described as a ‘Dusty Rose’ a light-medium muted pink with subtle warm undertones and a satin finish.
This shade does not suit me and I don’t think it gives that long wear that it claims, especially since it’s not a matte finish it will rub off as you eat and drink. It felt a little drying on lips but it is not drying either moisturizing. The application was smooth with the sponge applicator and I would still use a lip liner to prevent it from bleeding. It does not provide the lip stain that I would even go for.
